With more and more people continuing to use blog software such as Wordpress to promote their products and services, it is increasingly important to optomise your blog as much as possible. One way to do this is through your blog’s “ping” list.

Ping services allow you to automatically notify blog directories and search engines that your blog has been updated. The more services that your ping list contains, the higher the chances of your blog posts receiving traffic from those sources.
